Overview
As HTML has evolved, many of the things we relied on libraries such as jQuery or Bootstrap to do have long been replaced with more accessible and styleable options. Unfortunately these libraries created a legacy of designer-bias, where they essentially created hack work-arounds to allow them to style items like radio buttons and checkboxes.
The Neutrino Design System uses default elements and modern CSS to style these items, allowing a very similar look, but without damaging the native browser rendering on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
